When Johan and his wife visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater masterpiece in 1965, they were inspired to build their own midcentury modern home.
They hired a Pittsburgh architect, schooled in Frank Lloyd Wright techniques, to design one of the Pittsburgh region’s most unique homes.
They then hired legendary custom-home builder, Timpona Construction, to turn their amazing blueprints into their dream home, which Mr. Timpona completed in 1967.
Situated on a large lot in Bethel Park, PA, one of Pittsburgh’s many wonderful suburban communities, this home is centrally located to a variety of stores and services, including South Hills Village Mall a few miles away, yet it retains the feel of a secluded home in the woods.
The time has come for this home’s second owners to part with what has been their dream home the past 25 years. We will be putting it on the market soon!
